Greco Belgica Reveals Ombudsman ‘True Color’ After Bato’s Trip to Vegas Probe
Former Manila City councilor Greco Belgica lambasted the Office of the Ombudsman following the plan to investigate Philippine National Police chief General Rolando “Bato” Dela Rosa over the free trip sponsored by Senator Manny Pacquiao for his fight in Las Vegas.
The Ombudsman pointed out the possible violation of Presidential Decree 46 which prohibits government officials to receive gifts on any occasion.
On Facebook, Belgica questioned Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales on why prioritizing the case of Gen. Bato and not the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Fund (DAP) he personally filed since 2014.
